As the summer months draw to a close and we start to think about wrapping up and pulling out the winter woollies, by default our brains think black, brown, purple and whatever other dark colour to match our mood about the winter months. However, I see no reason to shy away from the pastel colours we saw in abundance throughout summer.
I'm in the market for a new coat, I'd love one in a cool pastel to match the weather. The delicate colours are feminine and chic. I'm finding I am reaching for all the black in my wardrobe at the moment but an icey coloured coat in powder blue, camel, blush pink or grey will instantly make a statement and elevate an outfit.
